Des-Rae is a single mother of two kids. The family live in emergency housing and are waiting for an RDP home. 

She is trying to help her mother and brother, but supporting two households on the bare minimum is tough.

With the money, the mother plans to ease the burden for both families until the lockdown is lifted.
