Eskom has announced that it is jumping to Stage 4 load shedding at noon on Wednesday, and this will continue until 05:00 on Friday. Stage 2 load shedding will then be in effect until 05:00 on Saturday, as announced by the utility earlier in the week. Where are we on the roadmap towards IPPs easing our dependence on Eskom?

The SA Ice Hockey Men's team (Rhino's) are heading off to Iceland, to compete in the Winter Olympic Qualification tournament. The team boast some impressive victories already.

The pre-qualification event for the 2026 Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo will take place in Iceland’s capital Reykjavik on December 14-17, where the Rhinos are set to take to the ice against the best in the world.

They will compete against three formidable countries in hosts Iceland, Estonia and Bulgaria, with only the winner of the tournament reaching the final qualification round
