Ndalo Media acquires Elle South Africa and Elle Deco SA

Nearing it's 10 year anniversary this year Ndalo Media has reached a major milestone and has acquired global media brands Elle South Africa, as well its homes magazine Elle Decoration.

Sharing the good news on Azania Mosaka's show founder and CEO Khanyi Dhlomo explains what obtaining the license means for the company.

There is so much more to them than the magazines, and there is so much more we want to add to them than the magazines.

Khanyi Dlhomo, CEO and Founder of Ndalo Media

What attracted me to them is the power of the brands, the longevity of the brands, the global appeal of the brands and the broad millennial target market that they talk to.

Khanyi Dlhomo, CEO and Founder of Ndalo Media

There is such a great opportunity to build them beyond print, to digital, events and other related product services.

Khanyi Dlhomo, CEO and Founder of Ndalo Media

Dlhomo says the digital and events move is the future of any media brand if they are to survive.

Consumers want to access brands that they love and trust, anywhere, anyhow, at any time and so the survival and profitability of any media brand is to deliver on that.

Khanyi Dlhomo, CEO and Founder of Ndalo Media

When you have access to an already powerful brand that has already done the hard work of winning consumer trust and love and awareness it becomes a much easier job to then build that ecosystem of platforms, experiences and products and services around that particular brand.
